The district archaeological museum of Mugello and Val Di Sieve

WHY VISIT IT
This museum is a real jewel between Mugello and Val di Sieve: inside you can discover the most important archaeological and historical evidence of our beautiful and ancient territory. It is a real blast from the past that allows you, above all, to learn about the great Etruscan civilisation.

THE MUSEUM
The museum contains archaeological and historical evidence from the entire Mugello, Alto Mugello and Val di Sieve area. In particular, the finds are the result of important excavations carried out at the Etruscan sites of San Martino a Frascole (Dicomano), Poggio Colla (Vicchio) and I Monti (San Piero a Sieve). The visiting experience can be carried out according to two reading paths: the chronological-topographical one and the didactic-thematic one, all made more evocative thanks to the stylised representations that recall the cultures and traditions of the past. The museum is also suitable for children thanks to thematic panels and our Activity book.
