THE MUSEUM
Discover the Museum of Wine and the Vine in Rufina, where past and present come together in the evocative cellars of Villa Poggio Reale. Admire original tools used between the 1930s and 1960s for vine cultivation and winemaking, along with an extraordinary collection of flasks, including rare blown-glass pieces from the 18th century. In a land where wine has been a living tradition since Etruscan times, the museum leads you on a journey through memory and innovation, documents and atmosphere, ancient techniques and new experiences. A unique voyage into the heart of Tuscany’s winemaking culture.

Ordinary closure during the winter period: from December to February

March and April:
Sunday: 9.30am – 12.30pm

From May to September:
Saturday and Sunday: 9.30am – 12.30pm
Closed during the week of Ferragosto

October and November:
Sunday: 9.30am – 12.30pm

Extraordinary afternoon openings:
Saturday before Easter, Easter Monday, 25 April, 1 and 2 June: 3.30pm– 6.30pm

Special openings on the occasion of Bacco Artigiano at the end of September.
